Summer Camp 2024
Mountain Kids, Incorporated, has exciting changes ahead for Summer 2024! This year, we are thrilled to offer summer day camps for all school aged children, from Pre-K through 12th grade. Four camp offerings, in three different age groups. This will allow siblings, cousins, and friends to attend the same week of camp, on an age appropriate level for each child.
NEW CHANGES FOR SUMMER 2024!

Each week of camp will have three age groups:

Group 1: Age 4 through Rising 2nd Grade

Group 2: Rising 3rd Grade through Rising 7th Grade

Group 3: Rising 8th Grade through Rising 12th Grade

Our camp hours have changed to better accommodate working parents' schedules:

Camp will meet Monday through Thursday this year

Drop off begins at 7:45AM
-
Pick-up is at 4:00PM

We're bringing back family camp-outs!
-
Campers may spend Thursday night at the farm with a parent or guardian present at all times
-
We have a very limited number of tents available, please bring your own if possible
-
Families must register for the camp-out on the first day of camp.

Hotdogs and smores will be provided for each registered family, to cook over the campfire.

MKI staff will be on site, but campers will be the responsibility of their parent or guardian beginning at 4PM.
-
Those wishing to stay the night may access the swimming hole, innertubes, and other farm activities under the supervision of their parent or guardian.

No lifeguard will be on site during this time.

Families are asked to leave the farm by 10AM Friday.

Camp-outs are weather dependent.

2024 Summer Camp Offerings:
Around the World in 4 Days - June 17-20 - 8:00AM-4:00PM - Ages 4-17 - $150:
This camp will allow children to explore four different cultures with themed crafts, foods, and music. The week will end featuring a hot air balloon.
Creative Creatures Camp - June 24-27 - 8:00AM-4:00PM - Ages 4-17 - $150:
This camp is a chance for children to explore four categories of animals, their habitats, and characteristics. There will also be several live animal experiences along with themed crafts.
High Adventure Camp - July 8-11 - 8:00AM-4:00PM - Ages 4-17 - $150:
This week, campers can explore their wild side and test their survival skills. Campers will have the opportunity to rock climb, kayak, tube down the river, participate in archery, and other high adventure skills!
Create Your Own Summer Camp - July 15-18 - 8:00AM-4:00PM - Ages 4-17 - $150:
Creativity can run wild this week as campers may choose their own preferences. There will be water activities, crafts, dance, and music.
Faith Moves Mountains Camp - TBA - 8:00AM-8:00PM - Ages 12-17 - $50:

Scholarship Information:
-We will not turn away any child who wishes to participate in summer camp due to financial difficulties;
---Campers may lose their ability to receive scholarships in the future by not participating in camp once funds are awarded.
---If a camp is full, a scholarship will not be awarded. The camper may be placed on the waiting list, and if a space opens, the family will be notified immediately.
-A scholarship application must be completed to be eligible;
-Applications are reviewed by a panel;
---Please wait 14 days before contacting our staff about scholarship awards;
-Scholarship award amounts vary based on the need of the family;
-No monetary value is given to the scholarship awardee - funds are given directly to Mountain Kids;
-All scholarship information is kept confidential;
